The Twilight Saga – about to end in 2012!
In the final quarter of 2012 we will finally see the end of the Twilight Saga, with the movie Breaking Dawn Part 2. As expected, the movie will be filled with action, GCI effects and will include a fresh new addition of new actors. It is expected to hit the top of the movie charts, as it finally finishes the long story told in the first three movies of the saga. The director, Bill Condon shared that the movie will include a new Coven and that it will show us the meetings of vampires all over the world, which would create more of a ‘global feeling’.
The Part 1 of Breaking Dawn did not disappoint us either and the only reason why it did not manage to reach the expected $142 million opening is the decreased fan base since 2009. Since Part 2 will be the final movie in the sage, we expect it to beat all the previous vampire movies. Countless fans are waiting anxiously to see how the movie will end. The director did share that there was a very specific ending, but abstained from saying anything more.
The final movie is the only one that differs from the book, and as we said the new addition is the new coven that takes place in France. This is one of the many mysteries surrounding the movie. There is still some chance that the film will be shot in 3D – we will know more about that in the coming months.
The final two movies in the saga seem to be attracting a lot of new fans – both young and old were captivated by the fantasy world, created by Part 1 of Breaking Dawn. The reasons for that are many, but there is one primary one – the movie is not so much a supernatural/horror story as much as it is a modern-day love story. This is about to shift somewhat and as far as we know Part 2 will be a lot more of an action-packed horror movie than the previous parts of the saga.
There are many theories as to why the Twilight Saga gained such popularity, but the main one is that young people tend to identify with some of the characters – Bella for example is a typical high-school student and her desires in the movie are very similar to what most high-school students want – to fit in and to find true love.
The release date of Part 2 of the series is scheduled on November 16th 2012. This is exactly one year after Part 1 was released – the main reason for the long wait is the high number of competing movies in 2012, including “The Avengers” and “The Hobbit” by Peter Jackson. There is a lot of time left, so we can’t say anything more about the upcoming movie release. One thing is sure – it will pleasantly surprise its fans with a lot of action, new additions to the cast and possibly – a 3D version.
